Yesterday, I was able to grab hold of my rank 5 packages. They’re all awesome, though the Titan package was the most best of them all. You can always get a good armor out of the Raid and other stuffs, but you can’t get good weapons from most of those. Not to mention, epic perks.
Here’s the video of my Rank 5 packages from the Iron banner:
Oh yeah, always remember that playing with your friends is much more fun in Destiny. Remember that there’s a new upcoming quest, be sure to stick with your friends till then. Here’s an additional video from me and my friends.
So yesterday, Iron banner started again, and this time, we get to play in Clash mode. It also came in with a new update for the Nightstalker class that returns the three quivers in your shadowshot.
During the first iron banner of year 2, my only character back then is the Hunter. So right now, I’m quite sad that I won’t be able to complete the set for my Warlock and Titan. But, since Bungie updated, the rewards are really great. I might get a Titan mark or a Warlock bond from the rewards if I grind them like my Hunter. Grinding for 5 hours is enough to give you the chest armor and the gauntlet. In addition to that, Bungie rewards us not with just the armor, but the light itself. I recently was rewarded with a 300 Armor, and a 304 Gauntlet for my Hunter. Though, getting those rewards is quite random. Even if you play a very great game, it’s not guaranteed that you’ll have a 300 armor from the rewards. I actually got two low light armor before I got the 300 armor chest piece. While, my 304 gauntlet, it’s the first one that was rewarded for me.
Tips for Iron Banner:
If you’re a rusher, it’s better to have your Invective shotgun at your side. Rushing is not always good if your team can’t keep up with you, you should take note of that.
Playing with your fireteam. For some players, they prefer to play quietly, but it’s also nice to have your friend at your back or be the back up. It’s either that your the rusher and he’s the follow up guy, or vice-versa.
Stealth. I actually admire those with the skills of stealth at such an open map. I was always beaten up by these bladedancers because I’m a rusher even though I’m holding a sniper. The invisibility skill is really great if you know how to use it. Even with Nightstalkers, though the thing with Nightstalkers, is you get a very small time of your invisibility only. Not to mention, it eats up your smoke grenade that you could use for other things.
Don’t use your heavy ammo right away. It’s been known that if a player got a heavy ammo, they rush to get some kills. It’s actually a bad idea if you ask me. Just wait till everyone finishes off their ammos, then it’s your time to shine.
Use a sniper rifle that has the “Random bonus damage from a shot in your magazine.” I actually died several times because of the Eirene which has that perk. Even if they shot you at your feet, there’s a 20% that you’ll drop dead right away. Even so, I got back at them by using my sniper that has no great perks. Just shoot them in the head.
The titan class. If you’re using a titan defender, don’t rush in. Use your bubble for the heavy ammo, it keeps your team safe, and the ammo as well. A titan striker is a great choice for a rusher. Just put up the skill of shoulder charge or the shield for sprint, it gives you a big edge against the other players. I personally hate the shoulder charge, as I couldn’t kill other players that uses that skill. If you’re using a sun breaker, it’s best if you stick with a group. A sun breaker can actually adapt to any style, but be sure to guard your back if you plan on rushing.
The warlock class. If you’re using a stormcaller, your super always gets in the way of rushers and groups. Be sure to use it when you see a group of players camping or hiding. If your choice is the sun singer, you can rush any time you want. Having the resurrect perk gives you an edge against the enemies. As for the void walker, you should stick with your team and bomb them whenever you can. If you rush, be sure you have your blink perk. It confuses the enemies and makes it hard for you to be tracked at all.
The hunter class. The bladedancer is the best choice for stealth rushers. The fact that it has the blink ability and the invisibility mode, gives you the highest edge ever. Bladedancers can be irritating as enemies, but great allies. The gunslinger is for those who wants to snipe. As the name said, gunslinger, it also gives you the tripmine grenade that helps you plant traps whenever you can. The golden gun can also neutralize other supers with just one shot. Shooting down a sun breaker, bladedancer, and a stormcaller is the best way to use the golden gun. Don’t let your hand itch to use it when no one’s super is on. The nightstalker class is a very very good help with the team. It gives a very good support if you choose the vanish in smoke ability for your team. It can also adapt into any kind of play. Using the shadowshot neutralizes other players’ supers. Having three quivers now, you can always rush to players with supers or groups and give them a shot with your bow. The smoke with toxin does suppress the enemy, be sure that it’s also a group. A suppressed group is the easiest way to have multiples kills, having a combo of the fusion grenade and the suppressor is the best.
Tips on how to raise your rank in Iron banner faster:
To raise your Iron banner rank faster, you should know the tricks above. Giving you more kills with strategies and more assists. Before going into the field, be sure to visit lord Saladin for the bounties.
Getting the gold bounties is top priority. It gives you +525 on your rank. It’s not just the legendary marks, it’s also the random reward whenever you claim the bounty. I got a legendary cloak from the bounty as well.
Get multiple kills. It’s not easy as it sounds, but you can always get these kills when you’re using a heavy rocket launcher, or the exotic sword. The Truth is also a great choice for rocket launchers, though it eats up your chance for having your red death or jade rabbit in your primary weapon. The Sleeper Simulant is also a good choice, it bounces everywhere, giving you a higher chance to get multiple kills.
Get assists. Don’t be frustrated if all you get are assists. It also gives you points, being the unsung hero gives you a lot of points too.
So guys, I’ve found this out last night. My friends doesn’t know about this too, so I think I should post this. After Dogmeat hands over the Cryolator to you, check his inventory for a Cryo Cell with a count of 200 in it. I don’t know how I got it, but I always use Dogmeat whenever I’m encumbered. I give him stuffs like weapons and apparels. I wasn’t paying attention at first because it’s midnight when I played Fallout, so my sight was still adjusting. But when I turned to the ammo section of Dogmeat’s inventory, I saw it. You guys should check it out after you get the Cryolator from Dogmeat. I don’t know if it will be there after a week, since there’s a weekly reset of supplies in Fallout 4 like Skyrim. Just check out my video below, give it a thumbs if it helped you out and subscribe for more coming videos.
What’s up guys, shion here. I’m here to update you guys about Nao’s script for the YnS project with trjr. As you have all known, I was very sick, up to the point where I couldn’t even lift myself up. But that’s all in the past, during those times, all I did was play video games, basically, the Playstation 4. It’s been a hobby, I’m actually addicted to it now. With my new schedule, I’ve been having time to translate Nao’s script.
Nao: 6583/7311(90.04201%)
It’s a slow run actually, I’ve got to admit it, I’ve been procrastinating some time when I’m translating. I always need something to stimulate my brain while translating. Anyway, I’ll be glad to do more after this update. Since I have a free schedule in my mornings, I usually do it before my lunch and after my breakfast.
If you guys think my schedule is wrong, please do give me some advise on it. I translate in the morning, play in the afternoon till midnight. I can’t translate all day, it gives me a different kind of headache. I know English and Japanese, but that doesn’t mean my brain works like Google Translate. I can converse smoothly with Japanese people, because I know Japanese, but then, speaking is different than reading.
Anyways, I’ll be posting more often now, last week I was supposed to post something, but then, I forgot.
As you all guys know, I’m an FPS addict. I play Battlefield 4 all day back then, and recently, I’ve been into Destiny’s Taken King. Last night, I sacrificed my Destiny time, for Fallout 4, turns out, I enjoyed playing until it was 2AM. In Destiny, I get sleepy around 12AM. So let’s break down what I have found last night. I haven’t been into any walkthrough websites, I haven’t watch any videos regarding Fallout 4 except the trailer and the funny video about Manny Pacman’s face talking to Codsworth.
So first of all, my friend who is playing ahead of me told me that there’s this robot that I’d want to have. It’s near the USAF Satellite Base. I took his advice and went around for 30 minutes and found this Robotics Disposal Grounds. I saw this robot, named as MKIV or something. Anyway, then I texted him and he told me that there’s a secret gun there. I looked all over the place and I wasn’t successful. So I turned to Dogmeat, it’s his time to shine. Here’s the video:
Here’s another thing that I had found. It’s my second powered armor now, I also placed the map in the video below, so be sure to watch and know where it is. I think the armors are random. I told my friend about this, and he told me as well that he has it already. Though, he had himself missing one piece, the left leg. While mine is missing the left arm.
The next video is a funny one… Be the judge, I wasn’t expecting anything at all. I never violated any acts or some sort.
Oh, remember that weather system I was telling about in my review. Here’s the thing, I never knew about this kind of storm, since in my first two to three hours, I only experienced rain and windy weather. I never expected any Nuclear storm at all. I actually panicked when I felt something was coming, because something WAS coming. The skies dimmed as I was shooting this legendary raider, too bad he mutated twice because of this storm, so I had to run. I never knew anything about the storm, which made me more scared. Here’s the vid.
My last exploit from last night. Remember that special weapon in the vault? There were rumors about a glitch there, I wasn’t interested in it. I wanted to play fair and to play fair, means no glitch, or maybe a little glitch wouldn’t be bad. Everything was so accidental in my next video. It was after the Nuclear storm, and another nuclear storm, I though I could wait down the vault for it to cool down. I can’t waste my Radaway with that storm only. So I decided to go down, back to the vault, with dogmeat. Hoping to find nothing, I turned to the container that holds a gun inside. It’s mastered lock, so, I thought to myself that I’d go back for it. I went to dogmeat and have him fetch for me for fun. I didn’t use the “find any containers” since he’ll direct me back to that gun. So I went with, “find me any goodies nearby” which is triggered by Items as seen on the video below. You be the judge, but I really am sorry for finding this, but if you feel like you want the gun that bad, get it like I had. I won’t use it until I turn level 18. I’m having fun with my current guns, no need to use this gun yet. Believe me, I won’t use it.
So that’s it guys, a night of fallout 4 can lead me to many things. Maybe, just maybe, if the clan isn’t going to raid, I can save my Destiny playtime for Fallout 4. I’ll stick with this new schedule I have where I play Destiny in the afternoon, and Fallout 4 the whole night. If you want to contact me or anything, just leave a message on my websites or youtube channel, I’d be glad to respond. My playstation account by the way is shi0n-kai-san, be sure to add me. That is shi0n with a zero as the letter “O”. Till next time buds!
What’s up guys, shi0n here. Last two days ago, I got my copy of the Fallout 4. Though, when it came, all I did was create my character and went through the vault. I also tweaked my difficulty level up to hard, so there would be a challenge for me. I’m no usual gamer who likes to go through the story only, I want to feel challenged by it. Maybe, sometime tomorrow or these coming days, I might tweak it up to survival mode. Anyways, if you’re interested in knowing what’s inside the PS4 Fallout 4 R3 box, it contains of:
A poster from Vault-Tec, the one with S.P.E.C.I.A.L. thing.
Survival Guide, Condensed Edition, which contains the controls.
And, the CD, of course…
What can I say about the Fallout 4?
As a gamer who hasn’t played the first three installments, I was quite bothered by playing it without knowing the history. I didn’t do any research at all, except, knowing that it’s a post-apocalyptic setting where you survived a nuclear attack or outbreak. But, as someone who has played Bethesda’s top rated game, which is the Skyrim, the controls and the gameplay were quite the same. It’s when you realized, they run on the same engine, but you’ve got to admit, Fallout 4 engine is already the advanced engine of Skyrim. Imagine Skyrim running in Fallout 4’s engine…
The graphics are superb. Don’t listen to those who’re saying that the graphics looks sucky on the leaked gameplay before. The leaked video looked like it was on a beta or alpha stage of the game. It looks terrific, though it doesn’t look stunning, what’s stunning is the environmental changes. The way how CDPR handled The Witcher 3, it’s quite the same with Fallout 4. I’m also hoping for an update from Bethesda for the hands during the usage of the Pip-boy in-game. It would be much better if the thumb moves along when you move through the sub-tabs of the Pip-boy.
Shooting, it’s like bungie or destiny all over during the FPS mode. I know we’ve heard it, but you’ve got to admit that you want to try if they really nailed the shooting on FPS mode, and they actually did. During the FPS mode, it’s like Skyrim when you don’t have any weapons equipped. It’s like the plebeian mode during the first phases of your character on Skyrim. The shooting is awesome, I’m a regular player of Destiny Year 2, and I actually felt like I didn’t changed the game when I’m on FPS mode holding a handgun(handcannon most likely).
Weapons and consumable items, they confused me during my first day. I honestly was a bit confused on how to equip an item or weapon, and how to customize the weapon. For three times, I accidentally used my stimpak, for having problems with the controls since I’m new to the game, but then, you’ve got to admit, they should patch it up with prompts. Also, if you haven’t played it, lay-off the roach’s meat and the meat you get from the animals you kill. They’re radiated meat, so, it’s better if you wait till your endurance is good enough from the rads. The weapons are quite nice, especially when you figured out how to customize it. I recommend that you customize the melee weapons too, as they save bullets and ammunition. Take note that it’s Bethesda, remember that swing force from Skyrim, they have it too. So be wary of your melee weapon, or you’ll end up dead right away.
Clothing is quite the norm for me. It’s really not fashionable, but I saw some apparel that makes my girl character looks so badass. Though, I’m pretty sure, with that badass look, and with its low rate endurance, she would be more badass if she kills dozens of raiders wearing that apparel. I haven’t seen any fashionable apparel that gives you enough protection from the environment, so I haven’t changed my jumpsuit from vault 111. You can also wear glasses and other goggles. I like my girl protagonist to wear glasses, since I really dig girls with glasses, so I let her wear one.
Enemies and difficulty, I saw my brother played on the normal difficulty level, it’s really the normal thing. You can kill the enemies normally… And when I say normally, headshots can kill right away. As for the hard mode, and very hard mode, you need to find cover first and aim or plan on whether to use the VAT system or not. The VAT system helps a lot, it gives you information on where the armor is weak, it also gives you the option to auto fire for you, but, it consumes action points which you need to run if you ever find yourself in trouble and out of stimpak. The difficulty is well-balanced for this game, I’m having a hard time going through the hard mode, or maybe its because I’m new to the game. Either way, I’ll up my difficulty when I feel that it’s becoming easy.
Characters, I can’t tell much for the characters yet. I just barely scratched the surface of the story, I can’t tell who’s rounded and not. I think we have to finish it before we can tell on how everyone acts. As we all know, our actions and answers can make other characters go nuts and leave you, or be friendly to you and poison you, or just be friendly. Who knows…
Level up system, it’s one of the things I really look up upon playing games like Fallout 4. It’s quite easy to understand the level up system, and it’s also overwhelming. Whenever you level up, you get a perk, and that perk unlocks a new ability, or level an existing ability. You better read the in-game perk list for you to know it better. The perk list is quite long too, but then, it’s on where you decide on what kind of character build you want. If you want a mutated kind of character, or a stealthy human being, it’s up to you.
There you go, my thoughts on the all new Fallout 4. Be sure to buy it when you have the money to. I won’t comment about the frame-rate, since I’m not one of those gamers who makes issues about it, let’s all enjoy the story and the game my fellow gamers. Here’s a clip from Mama Murphy, it contains a very very minor spoiler.
So today, we’re going to tackle the weekly Destiny updates and bounties.
Mayhem Rumble:
As for our weekly Crucible mode, we have this chaotic mode back. I was actually waiting for this to turn up during the festival of the lost, since this mode gives you such a high killing streak. Just imagine, using a sunbreaker(like in my video below) in every matches, obliterating other guardians in your way.
Nightfall The Shield Brothers:
Next, we have the weekly Nightfall. This is where we really sit down and plan out our strategies for this weekly nightfall features these buffs.
Epic – This modifier is always turned on for every nightfall there was. It also means that there would be a large number of enemies too, with a lot of majors to kill. Majors are those enemies with yellow health bar, they’re not really easy, nor hard to kill.
Small Arms – All Primary Weapon damage is increased.
Match Game – Enemy shields resist unmatched elemental damage.
Grounded – Guardians take increased damage while airborne.
Trickle – All abilities recharge very slowly.
Strategy:
Now, the trick here is, you want to finish this with a very very versatile fireteam. As we all know, the band brothers is a pain in the ass when it comes to the last part with the wrong fireteam. Communications isn’t really needed, but I highly recommend it for those who can’t get through the tank and the first stage of that jumping brother.
At my first try, we actually went through a lot of pain getting through the tank. In this mode, not only the tank’s accuracy is over 90%, the large number of enemies(EPIC) are accurate as well. So it’s best if you have at least a Titan Defender in your fireteam or a Warlock Stormcaller. The Titan Defender can always buff up the team’s defense with “The Blessings of Light” ability of the Ward of the Dawn. Don’t use Weapons of Light if you’re planning to go for a Defender in your fireteam. Also, use the defender’s shield barrier, turn it to either the unbreakable or the orb making perk for melee. Next, if you either go for a Warlock, the choices are two. It’s either you go for a Storm Caller, or a Sun Singer. A Sun Singer can be pretty independent as it just resurrect when it dies, but you should also know when you should really resurrect as the Trickle modifier is turned on. Next is the other member of the fireteam, it’s up to him whether if he uses a hunter or a sunbreaker. In our case, we went for a Hunter’s Nightstalker. The tether ability of the Nightstalker is a big help in the last sequence of the Shield Brother’s comeback. They’re also back with at least six shielded majors on the field, so tethering the majors is a must. Don’t tether the jumping brother, as it doesn’t have much effect on him, plus, the mobs will kill you if you don’t deal with them.
You can still crouch in the first sequence of the boss. We did it in every try, but sometimes, it also fails. For it not to fail, you should really stick close to him, moving around him, not moving away. Also, if you’re a defender, don’t use the titan bubble if the jumping brother is chasing you and you’re the last guardian standing. Lose him first before you pop up a bubble for yourself.
Rewards:
As I have finished it with all of my characters, it’s pretty much the norm for a 300+ light to get 310 equipments from the rewards. I suggest popping up three of coins when you get to the boss for more exotic drops. It doesn’t work 100%, but it’s been tested that popping up three of coins before the boss fight, gives you at least 50% chance of getting an exotic engram out of those bastards. I tried it, but I didn’t get any in my tries, I used at least three per try.
Weekly Bounties:
I’ve heard that Petra has new bounties in her arsenal as well with Lord Shaxx. I’m gonna do it for the following days, whoever wants to play along with me, just add me up in PSN or in your PS4. Simply look for shi0n-kai-san, make sure to message me after I add you.
Hi guys! It’s been a while again. Yesterday, I went online on Destiny and tried to stream, but then, my internet connection couldn’t handle it. I’m going to upgrade my connection ASAP, since I want you guys to watch me live and interact with you guys more. Now then, Inferno Rumble is a mode in Destiny’s crucible this week. It’s quite tricky if you always rely on your tracker. I’ve got some tips and tricks for you, since I’m a Battlefield player, I have known what it’s like to play without the map in the Hardcore mode. As for Destiny players, I’ve noticed that some players struggle when they play without their tracker.
So here are my tips and tricks:
Use a weapon with an active tracker. I don’t have any weapons like that, but my friends do have those kinds of weapons, and they’re very useful. This morning, I went head-on with my friends in a fireteam, and they got me right away. He was using a warlock, so there’s no way he could track me until I found out his weapon has this ability to track enemies you’ve spotted or you hit with the weapon.
Use a Nightstalker. Using a Nightstalker gives you an up already, it has this ability to track enemies down. I used my Nightstalker in my first rounds and won on my second round and third round. It’s easy for a Nightstalker since you can also use the vanish in the smoke ability to lose track of your pursuers. Using the graviton forfeit gives you an additional perk to evade. Just like what I did in the video below.
Don’t rush in the battle. Don’t just go run around when you see an enemy. It’s better to wait for your enemy to strike before you do. Be sure to know on the location of where the bullets came from if someone is firing. Getting the last hit is somewhat bad of would give you a bad image to other players, but sometimes, you just can’t help it getting into the crossfire. I do recommend wait for them to finish, or finish them both off right away. That way, you have trimmed the remaining active players into four, which gives you a reminder that three players could still be lurking around.
Look around you. Looking around while moving is a great help. It covers your surroundings properly.
Know the map more. If you don’t know the map properly, you’re nearly dead meat and a sitting duck for players who have been playing ever since. I suffered from this when I used my Titan. I barely know the map.
Use shotguns or snipers. Using a shotgun gives you a perfect edge against everyone. I suggest using Inective, since you’ll have no bullets for special weapons from the start of the match. You’ll notice in my video below, that I accidentally switched sometimes to my shotgun with no bullets in it. As for snipers, you can always use any sniper you want, just find a spot to camp in, then you can lock and load till someone runs around chasing another player.
Wait for everyone to have finished their supers. If you go super along with everyone, you’ll be on par with them. The trick is, wait in one corner until the field quiets down once more, then search for them and use your super. Look on my video below on how I wasted my Sunbreaker’s super because I went along with everyone’s super.
Know the spawning locations of your enemies and your spawning location. This can be a cheat or a trick, but it works fine. If you have memorized the maps and its spawning locations, just go directly to it and wait till someone spawn. It can be irritating if you’re the one spawning and someone’s owning you in the spawn location, so be wary of this as other players can use this too.
Don’t panic. Yes, that’s the best tip for players. If someone shoots you, don’t panic, just run in a different direction and wait for them to chase you. It could be risky to wait for them, so if you have a lower health, it’s better to run and hide without panicking.
An additional tip. If you haven’t finished your sword’s crucible kills on your other characters, it’s your time to do it. Just hit them with the hilt of the sword, it’s all good, but be sure to damage them first so it would result to a one hit strike. You can also try damaging them by a shotgun from afar, and then chase with the hilt.
Good day guys! It’s been a while since I’ve made some blogpost… or should I say updates ever since forever. Today, I have decided to change the site for good. I’ve been playing in the console for a while now, not really for a while, ever since I got a PS3. Several months ago, we bought a PS4 to cope up with the games we’ve been playing in a better quality. But then, I have to reconsider things in my life such as my college life and my goal in life to be a scientist. I also had another goal that can’t be erased from my mind, which is moving to Japan for good. I still have that in mind, since it’s the closest thing that I can do right now. I’m still a translator, and I’m currently translating for trjr’s YnS. I’m also planning to finish up to the end with HnS with them if we ever finish YnS flawlessly. As Nao’s translator, I have been pushed around since I was known for being a bad translator. I admit it, but as time flew, I studied Japanese. Actually, in my next semester, I’m planning to study for an N2 exam again. It’s the least that I can do as a translator since I haven’t really pursued my career as a translator. With the hectic schedule I have, it’s been hard to keep up with the pace I set up for myself.
Now then, since I’ve finished my university projects, I have been playing for a while now. You can say everyday is a good day to play, but then I’m a competitive player. I have actually finished a couple of big games already, not to mention MGSV:TPP is on my checklist, I haven’t actually touched it. I’ll be uploading more videos in my channel if you haven’t seen it, just click THIS. I want my channel to grow as I play with other players, so if you’re interested in playing with me, you can always drop your IGN or gamer tag in my facebook fanpage. Or you can drop your name here or add me directly in PSN(shi0n-kai-san). Be sure to message me if you found me here or in my facebook fanpage. I’d be delighted to play with everyone.
This blog will serve as my personal blog now. From posting updates from Nao’s script weekly, yes weekly, I’m back; posting my novels, yes, I’m a writer, currently writing a horror novel and a romantic novel; to posting my video reviews and fun times on my game hours. Be sure to subscribe on my youtube channel to see more of my new upcoming videos.
Here’s one of my best times in Destiny’s crucible! That’s all for today, or maybe later as well… Who knows.
